Work Day Volunteers

Volunteer Interpreters, Docents and Tour Guides
The Button Farm Living History Center is currently recruiting docents, tour guides and living history interpreter trainees to help operate our site, give tours to visitors and present third-person personas of 19th century people. Click here for more info!

Employment Opportunities
The Button Farm Living History Center is looking for traditional artisans and living history interpreters knowledgeable in mid-19th century skills and folkways. Qualified individuals will work with the public by presenting demonstrations and instructional courses in their s kill. Special Volunteer Projects
The Button Farm Living History Center hosts special projects and internships with high school and college students and adults and retirees. We have positions for administrative work, archives and library, research, marketing and public outreach. We also host Eagle Scout projects as well as other Boy and Girl Scout projects.
