Outdoor Adventuring

Outdoor Adventuring is an excellent way to experience the farm, its history and environs. We have organized hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, challenge course events and field trips. Activities are available for schools, youth groups, scouts, private and public associations, as well as special corporate group outings and teacher trainings both on-site and throughout the Greater Washington Metropolitan area.

The Button Farm Living History Center has partnered with GO-AdventureSports & Nexteams programs to offer these special activities including the Button Farm Challenge Course. The experience-based Challenge Course provides an excellent tool for stimulating the positive growth and development of a group or organization. Challenge Course programs promote communication, commitment and trust through the use of team-building activities, while integrating the woods, trails, and streams of Seneca Creek State Park into your experience.

The Button Farm Challenge Course is ideally situated to serve the various for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental organizations of the DC Metropolitan Area. Please contact Eriq Powers 240.603.4150 or email: eriq@go-adventuresports.com for more information, or to schedule an event.
